Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-07-21 · v2026-07-21
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using Meal Planner (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The service
Meal Planner is a tool for planning household meals around estimated calorie and nutrition targets. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You may add household members and enter their details; you confirm you are entitled to provide that information.
4. Subscriptions, passes, and billing
Paid plans are billed through our payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; you can cancel at any time through the billing portal, and access continues until the end of the current period. One-time passes grant limited access and expire automatically. Prices, renewal terms, and any refund policy are as presented at purchase. (Operator to confirm refund terms and pricing.)
5. Your content and acceptable use
You retain ownership of the recipes, photos, and other content you add. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you. You agree not to upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
6. Not medical or nutritional advice
Calorie, macro, carb-cycle, and Galveston phase targets are estimates for general guidance only. The Galveston calculator covers macro ratios only and is an independent implementation not affiliated with or endorsed by The Galveston Diet or Dr. Mary Claire Haver. The Service is not medical, dietary, or health advice and is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Do not rely on it to manage a medical condition, allergy, or dietary requirement. Always verify ingredients and consult a professional where appropriate.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, excluding your content, is owned by us and our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. These terms grant you no rights to our trademarks or branding.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. (Operator/counsel to confirm the liability cap and any consumer-law carve-outs.)
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the Service. On deletion, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. (Operator to specify governing law and venue.)
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the version and last-updated date above; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
